A lot has happened over the past few months. We are now almost healed and back to our normal health. We have a lot to be thankful for; and one of those things is our wonderful family! Here is a picture of us, our children and grandchildren on Labor Day.

Here are a couple of pictures from Casey & Mary Beth's baby shower.

It was a lot of fun, & Caleb really scored on the presents!

Here we are in Phoenix, AZ. I had a great time with my parents. Dad was feeling pretty good most of the time. Mom and I went on a lot of walks. What a blessing they are to me!

Kurt putting a window in a house.

Here is Kurt working on a window in a home in Mississippi. The house had to be gutted because of water damage. The work was hard, but he enjoyed being able to help. Posted by Picasa

workers in Mississippi

A couple of weeks ago Kurt and some other men in our church went down to Mississippi to help rebuild a house. They were so glad to be able to help a family of six there. Posted by Picasa

Carter with Gramps & Gramie in the country!

Here we are on our land in the country. This was Carter & his moms first trip. He enjoyed being out doors. Some day soon we will have to have a hot dog roast out here with him. Maybe next year his brother or sister and his cousin can come too!

Fall in Ellijay, GA

Here I am in Ellijay, GA. Kurt & I took our Seniors (not High School!) on a fall outing. We went to the apple orchards to get apples,(whatelse!) We had lunch at a cute place & then to town to look at all the antique places. I got a little school desk for Carter to work on his ABC's, which by the way, he already knows about 6 or 7!

Here we are on the blue Ridge Parkway.
We had a week's vacation in N. Carolina in Sept. We were on the motorcycle & we drove over 1,000 miles! We had a great time together! While we were on this trip we found out we are going to have another grandchild! What an awesome surprise! Casey & Mary Beth are having a baby in April. Keep them in your prayers.
